Cole Anthony Joins Melbourne United

Guard Cole Anthony has signed a one-year deal with Melbourne United of Australia's NBL, per Olgun Uluc. The 26-year-old former No. 15 pick heads overseas after six NBA seasons, including five with Orlando and one with Milwaukee. Anthony owns career averages of 12.0 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.8 assists, with a career-high 37-point game against the 76ers. He also reunites with former Magic teammate Joe Ingles on a loaded Melbourne roster. Anthony reportedly drew EuroLeague interest but chose the NBL, removing him from NBA fantasy boards for 2026-27 despite his name value.

Cole Anthony Parts Ways with Phoenix

Free agent guard Cole Anthony was released by the Phoenix Suns on Friday after being acquired at the trade deadline and never suiting up for the team. The 25-year-old logged 35 games this season, averaging 6.7 points, 3.5 assists, and 2.5 rebounds in 15.0 minutes, but struggled to carve out a steady role. Anthony has shown flashes as a scoring spark and secondary playmaker in past stops, which should generate interest from guard-needy teams. For fantasy managers, he is off the radar in standard leagues but is worth monitoring if he lands in a situation with an immediate backcourt opportunity.

Cole Anthony is Cleared for Wednesday's Game

Milwaukee Bucks guard Cole Anthony (ankle) is available to play ahead of Wednesday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans. As expected, Anthony is cleared to play after being listed as probable on the injury report. He twisted his ankle during Wednesday's game, but it's not serious enough to sideline him. This season, Anthony is averaging 6.7 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in 15.1 minutes per game. He has mostly been playing minutes in the teens and figures to have a hard time getting more action with Kevin Porter Jr. returning on Wednesday. Anthony won't be an ideal streaming option going forward with Porter finally back in the mix.
