Charlotte Hornets guard/forward Grayson Allen scored 13 points in 14 minutes during Tuesday's 124-90 preseason loss to the Brooklyn Nets. He shot 4-for-6 from the field, including a perfect 3-for-3 from deep, while adding one rebound and one assist. Allen, acquired from Phoenix this offseason, averaged 16.5 points, 3.8 assists, and 3.1 threes in 28.8 minutes across 51 games last season. Once Coby White (calf) and Kon Knueppel (hamstring) are back, Allen may have to compete for touches, but his shooting should still keep him in the rotation.

Phoenix Suns guard/forward Grayson Allen has been traded to the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday. According to Shams Charania, Allen, Royce O'Neale, and a 2033 first-round pick will move to Charlotte in exchange for Miles Bridges and two draft picks. Allen will head elsewhere after playing each of the last three seasons in Phoenix. When healthy, Allen is one of the better three-point shooters in the league while playing above-average defense as well. This past season, Allen averaged 16.5 points, 3.8 assists, and 3.0 rebounds across 28.8 minutes per game in 51 contests. His presence is a welcoming sight for the Hornets, who desperately need perimeter depth after trading LaMelo Ball earlier in the week. He figures to remain a viable fantasy contributor as long as he gets consistent minutes in the rotation.

Phoenix Suns guard/forward Grayson Allen (hamstring) is once again questionable on the injury report before Saturday's Game 3 against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Strangely, the Suns haven't played their fourth-leading scorer in the series yet, despite Allen being upgraded from questionable to available for both Game 1 and Game 2. After practicing fully on Friday, the 30-year-old will likely be active again on Saturday, but it remains uncertain whether he'll actually get playing time.
