CeeDee Lamb Has Detonation Potential In Fantasy Football In Week 7

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb will get a very favorable matchup for fantasy football in Week 7, when he faces the Philadelphia Eagles. In the past few seasons, they've been excellent at slowing down opposing wide receivers. That's not the case this year, as they allow the third-most PPR fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts. Lamb also plays in the slot often, which should keep him away from Eagles cornerback Quinyon Mitchell (knee). Lamb is one of the best receivers in the NFL when healthy, and already has two games with over 35 PPR fantasy points to his name. He's dominated the team in target share, and clearly reclaimed his throne as the clear WR1 for Dallas while his teammate, George Pickens, has been much less involved. Lamb is already a must-start in all leagues, and this could be another one of his monster outings. Expect at least 13 targets, 10 catches, 100 yards, and a touchdown or more for Week 7 for Lamb.

CeeDee Lamb Underwhelms Despite Massive Workload

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb corralled nine of 18 targets for 70 yards in Sunday's 23-13 road loss to the Green Bay Packers. Lamb rebounded nicely from a season-low in output a week ago, although fantasy managers were left wanting more following an enormous target total. For all intents and purposes, the 27-year-old had a solid outing, but was limited by quarterback Dak Prescott's inability to manage pressure throughout the game. Fortunately for owners, Dallas' defense will afford the offense plenty of shootouts. On the flip side, Prescott's struggles against the blitz should be monitored. Hopefully, Lamb and the Cowboys can adjust their scheme before a Week 7 meeting with the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football.

CeeDee Lamb A Must-Start WR1 Even If Playing Through Injury

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (quadriceps) is dealing with a thigh injury that ended up seeing him pulled from his game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 5. The Cowboys shockingly went on to lose that game despite the opposing team missing their starting quarterback, Baker Mayfield (thumb). Cowboys QB Dak Prescott threw two interceptions in the game -- it's clear that if Lamb had been healthy and active for the whole game, things could have been different. Dallas faces a tough test against the Green Bay Packers, who have been stingy against the pass this season. Their defense is middling against the run but excellent against the pass, though they rank just above average against wide receivers in fantasy football. The only thing that can hold back Lamb this season is his health, it seems, so as he practiced in full this week, expect him to have a shot at WR1 numbers.
