New York Giants quarterback Jameis Winston was benched in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints after completing 53.8% of his passes for 152 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. He was also sacked four times before being pulled for J.J. McCarthy. Winston was projected to have a good week given that New Orleans' defense entered Week 6 allowing the second-most points and the fifth-most yards. The Giants' offense was generally quiet on Sunday, with the exception of running back Tyrone Tracy Jr., who had a rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown before Winston exited the game.
New York Giants quarterback Jameis Winston completed 33 of 54 passes for 326 yards, threw three touchdowns, and had no interceptions in Week 5's 27-27 tie against the Washington Commanders. After a shaky start as the starter when Jaxson Dart went down with a knee injury in Week 2, Winston has become a reliable option in fantasy leagues. The former first-overall pick has posted 250+ passing yards and three touchdowns in back-to-back games and has become an elite supplier for receivers Malik Nabers and Isaiah Likely. He faces the New Orleans Saints defense, which has allowed the second-most points and fifth-most yards this season. In what is projected to be a shootout against the fast-paced Kellen Moore offense, Winston is a solid QB2 option in Week 6.
New York Giants quarterback Jameis Winston put together his best performance of the season this past weekend. Winston completed 33-of-54 passing attempts for 326 yards with three touchdowns and zero interceptions in the tie with the Washington Commanders. The veteran quarterback has thrown six touchdowns with two interceptions over his last two games. He'll now get a favorable matchup against the New Orleans Saints defense in Week 6. The expectation is that the Giants are going to continue airing it out with Winston, considering he's having success right now. Fantasy managers looking for a streaming option this week should consider adding Winston.
