Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee has taken on an expanded role lately, and his production could continue to climb in Week 7 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Higbee has an opportunity to step up as quarterback Matthew Stafford's favorite target with Davante Adams (hamstring) sidelined and Puka Nacua (calf) questionable after missing Friday's practice. The veteran tight end had already been handling a larger role lately with Terrance Ferguson (ankle) on injured reserve, so the wide receiver injuries should only allow his volume to increase. This is a very favorable matchup for Higbee to handle more targets, too, as the Raiders have surrendered the third-most catches, third-most touchdowns, and fourth-most fantasy points to tight ends in 2026. Yet, Higbee remains available on the waiver wire in a whopping 78% of leagues. Managers dealing with tight end bye weeks, injuries, or poor production can instantly upgrade at the position by streaming Higbee for Week 7.
Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee has caught 24 of his 29 targets through six weeks in 2026 for 246 yards and one touchdown, averaging 10.3 yards per catch. Higbee had his best game of the early season in last week's overtime loss to the Buffalo Bills, when he caught five of his six targets for 83 yards. He was not as productive in Sunday's surprising loss to the division-rival Arizona Cardinals in Week 6, though, catching all four of his targets for 22 yards. The basis for the 33-year-old veteran still being an option off the fantasy football waiver wire going into a Week 7 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders on the road is that fellow TE Terrance Ferguson (ankle) will not be eligible to return from Injured Reserve until Week 8 versus the Los Angeles Chargers. Higbee will have at least one more week to serve as L.A.'s top pass-catching tight end against the Raiders, putting him in play as a TE streamer with bye weeks in full swing. From Weeks 3 through 5, Higbee had at least 62 receiving yards and five receptions. Higbee is rostered in 35% of Yahoo leagues.
Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee has caught at least five passes for 60 yards in three consecutive games, putting him in a favorable position for Sunday's Week 6 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. Since Terrance Ferguson (ankle) went down, Higbee has caught 18 of 23 targets for 212 yards and a touchdown, including five receptions for a season-high 83 yards against Buffalo in Week 5. He played 67% of the offensive snaps in that contest, while fellow tight end Colby Parkinson managed just two targets despite playing a similar number of snaps. Arizona has been particularly vulnerable against tight ends, surrendering 258 receiving yards and four touchdowns to the position over its last three games. Higbee has become a reliable receiving option for Matthew Stafford, and Ferguson's continued absence should help preserve his opportunities. He is a worthwhile Week 6 streaming option, especially in PPR leagues, with the potential to deliver low-end TE1 production.
